Telolympics at our place

Hmmmm...not sure whether it's the fact that Susanne's been really tired and thus resting more than usual, or if there is some side of her that I've never seen. Seems she's entranced by the Olympics. She's managed to chop vegetables, fold clothes, play with Danny etc...all within mere feet of one of our two televisions the past few days. She loves all of it!

And I could have sworn she mentioned something about maybe needing a TV for the kitchen. She was joking. I think. ;-)

P.S. And Danny now loves Olympic swimming as much as he loves Doppler. Which is a lot!

I read today that a lot of the firework scenes at the opening ceremony were computer generated, those shown on TV and on screens inside the stadium...!

What??? That's criminal I say! And I bet they don't really paint the swimmer's names in the lane and erase them every 30 seconds either. Scoundrels! -M

How reliable this report is, I'm not sure, but there's substance to it at least...

LOL - you crack me up. I'm going away to Austin on Friday, but home again on Sunday. We should make a plan to get together soon!

Sounds great Momma Mikki. Let's chat early next week. Hugs to your girls. -M

There really IS something about the olympics. We don't watch much TV normally, but I constantly want to turn them on when I'm at home. During the opening cermonies I kept shouting, "I love America! Go Olympics!" What is up with that???

Must be your deep seated love of physical education Amy. I don't know about that "I love America" part. Must have been Mr. Barbeau? ;-)
